TREBLE WINNERS! 🏆🏆🏆UCLfinal 2023
What a night for Manchester City! The Sky Blues have made history by becoming the first English team to win the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season. They have also matched the feat of Celtic in 1967, who were the first team ever to win a domestic and European treble.

City clinched their third consecutive Premier League title with a comfortable 4-1 win over Liverpool on the final day, finishing with 98 points, two ahead of their rivals. They then added the FA Cup to their trophy cabinet with a dominant 3-0 victory over Chelsea at Wembley, with goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden.
But the biggest prize of all was the Champions League, which had eluded them for so long. After overcoming Barcelona in the semi-finals, they faced Paris Saint-Germain in the final at Istanbul, a rematch of last year's quarter-final, which PSG won on away goals.
This time, however, City were determined to make amends and they did so in style. They took the lead in the 18th minute through a stunning free-kick from De Bruyne, who curled the ball into the top corner from 25 yards out. PSG tried to respond, but City's defence was solid and their goalkeeper Ederson was alert to any danger.
The second half was more of the same, as City controlled the game and created chances. They doubled their lead in the 67th minute, when Foden played a one-two with Gundogan and slotted the ball past Keylor Navas. PSG looked deflated and could not find a way back into the game.
The final whistle sparked wild celebrations among the City players, staff and fans, who had travelled to Turkey to witness history. They lifted the trophy aloft and sang "Blue Moon" with joy. Gundogan, who was named man of the match, said: "We made history! This is an incredible achievement for this club and this group of players. We worked so hard for this and we deserve it."
City manager Pep Guardiola was also ecstatic and praised his team for their consistency and quality throughout the season. He said: "This is a dream come true for me and for everyone at this club. To win three trophies in one season is something very special and very difficult to do. I'm so proud of these players, they are amazing."

City have now established themselves as one of the best teams in Europe and in history. They have won seven trophies in three seasons under Guardiola and have shown no signs of slowing down. They have also broken several records along the way, such as scoring 100 goals in a Premier League season (2017-18), winning 18 consecutive games in all competitions (2020-21) and becoming the first team to reach 100 points in a Premier League season (2017-18).
City fans will be hoping that their team can continue their dominance next season and beyond, and maybe even add more trophies to their collection. For now, though, they can enjoy their moment of glory and celebrate their treble winners. 🏆🏆🏆
